2019 Christiansburg – Blacksburg Rotary Club Spring Blood Screening

A public service to New River Valley residents, the fasting blood test screens over 30 different markers including cholesterol, glucose, and red blood indices at a significantly reduced cost of $40.00. Blood test results are sent to participants and their physician of choice.

2019 Semi Annual Repair Cafe and Earth Day Celebration

Have a few items that could use some repair?? Bring up to 3 small items by the NRV Habitat for Humanity ReStore for assessment and repair by volunteers. Offering sewing, plant re-potting, knife and tool sharpening, IT support, small furniture repair and small electronics repair.

2019 Mudbass Classic Fishing Tournament

Got a new fishing rod? Break it in at the 36th Annual Mudbass Fishing Tournament, hosted by the VT Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. Rods, reels and bait will be provided and entry prizes will be awarded.

The Fly Fishing Film Tour

Cars for Cancer NRV Spring 2019 Car Show

If you’re looking for a reason to show off your car, how about one for a good cause?? Enter the Cars for Cancer Car Show! Awards will be given out in a variety of categories and goody bags will be given to car show entrants on a first come, first serve basis. All of the proceeds will benefit the Montgomery County Relay For Life.

2019 Annual International Street Fair

This year’s event will be kick started with a grand opening, called “Procession of Nations”. At their booths, members from student organizations representing 40 countries will discuss about their missions, cultural background, and display handicrafts, textiles, and pre-wrapped food products. There will also be live performances of traditional music, children’s activities, international food trucks (Note: student organizations no longer sell non-wrapped traditional food) and dancers from around the world sharing their culture with you.
